We store the minimum customer name, phone and optional email needed to run credit and receipts. Marketing messages stay off unless the shop records consent. Owners can anonymise a customer; invoices and journals stay for financial evidence.

Retention periods are a launch decision. This product does not invent statutory Ghana retention days.

Processors for a local pilot: MongoDB (ledger), Redis (rate limits only), Auth.js sessions. Paystack, Nalo and WhatsApp stay labelled sandbox until authorised.
